Our Mission

The goal of the Professional Learning department is to improve teacher quality and meet the requirement to have all core subject area teachers highly qualified; provide professional development that improves the knowledge of teachers, principals, administrators and staff; increase student achievement and eliminate the achievement gap; recruit and retain highly qualified teachers; provide induction and mentoring programs for new teachers; and facilitate leadership development for administrators.

College Transcripts

Would you like to request a transcript review to see if any of your college coursework will count toward an ESOL, Reading, Gifted or Autism Endorsement?  If so, please click on the image above to submit your transcript.

 

 

 

Out of district Professional Learning?

Do you need to submit out-of-district PL?  Email your certificate of completion to Cheryl Cole. If you did not earn a certificate, you can still submit documentation for in-service credit.  Download, print and complete the verification of attendance form.  Send to Cheryl Cole with supporting documents via the courier.

 

 

Look at Professional Learning Credits

  1. Log-in to Skyward Employee Access/Business and sign in using your credentials.
  2. Access your PL credit history. 
    • Click on the Employee Information tab. 
    • Choose Personal Information. 
    • On the left under Personnel, click on Prof Development
    • Click on the Completed column twice to sort by date. 
    • You should look for credits only within your five-year validity period which starts July 1st of the year in which you last renewed your certificate.
    • You can move through your PL courses using the forward and back arrows and you can adjust how many courses show on a page.
